Unit Economics
Visualize CAC, LTV, Payback Period, and LTV:CAC ratio calculated automatically from your Metrics Store.
How it works
Open 'Unit Economics' from the Metrics group in the sidebar. This page does not require manual input - it calculates everything from your Metrics Store data.
You need at least CAC and LTV values in your Metrics Store for the page to show results.
Metrics displayed
Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC): your latest reported CAC
Lifetime Value (LTV): your latest reported LTV
LTV:CAC Ratio: LTV divided by CAC. A ratio above 3 is generally healthy.
Payback Period: months to recover CAC, calculated as CAC / (MRR per customer)
Each metric shows a trend arrow comparing to the previous month.
Interpreting the charts
The trend charts show how each metric has changed over the months you have data for. Use these to spot concerning trends early:
Rising CAC with flat LTV signals an efficiency problem
Declining LTV:CAC ratio may indicate the need to revisit pricing or reduce churn
