plain words

1. The agreement

By using UpgradIQ you agree to these terms. If you are using it for a company, you confirm you are allowed to agree on its behalf. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. What you own

Everything you build is yours. The code your agent writes, the product you ship, the customers you win, and every cent of revenue it makes. We take no equity, no royalty, and no cut. Nothing of ours runs inside what you deploy.

3. What we license to you

Your plan grants you a personal, non-exclusive licence to use the ideas, plans, kits, and context files to build and commercialise a product. That licence is for building, not for redistribution.

4. What you may not do

• Republish, resell, or redistribute the idea pages, kits, or reports as a product of your own.
• Scrape or bulk-extract the catalog, or attempt to enumerate content your plan does not grant.
• Share an account or a token across people. Tokens are watermarked to a seat.
• Use the service to build anything unlawful, or anything designed to harm people.

5. Accounts

You are responsible for your account and for keeping your password to yourself. Tell us promptly if you think it has been compromised, and we will lock it.

6. Plans and billing

Paid plans bill in advance, monthly or annually, through Stripe. Annual plans renew automatically at the then-current rate unless cancelled, except that founding annual members keep their launch rate for as long as they stay subscribed. Prices are shown before you pay, and tax is added where required.

7. Cancelling and refunds

Cancel any time from the billing portal. You keep full access until the end of the period you already paid for, and then the account drops to free. Your build progress stays saved either way, untouched. New paid plans carry a 7-day money-back window, no questions asked. There is no trial anywhere on UpgradIQ, because the free tier is the trial.

8. The ship guarantee

If you follow a published kit's sequenced path and a step fails to reach a running MVP, we will fix the kit or extend your Pro access free, as described on the guarantee page. The guarantee covers our kit and our context files. It cannot cover code you wrote yourself, or third-party outages outside the kit.

9. No promise of success

A UIQ score is a research-backed signal that an opportunity is real and buildable. It is not a prediction, not investment advice, and not a promise that your product will make money. Execution and the market still decide the final outcome here, exactly as they always have done.

10. Availability

We work to keep the service up and your data safe, but no service is perfect. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, and we may change or retire features as the product evolves. Anything that meaningfully affects you gets logged in the changelog for you to read.

11. Liability

To the extent the law allows, our liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for lost profits or indirect losses from a product you chose to build.

12. Ending it

You can delete your account whenever you like. We may suspend an account that breaks section 4, and we will always tell you exactly why when we do.
