Score your idea
before you build it

Rate your idea against the eight signals we score every idea on, and get a directional UIQ read in about a minute. No account, nothing to install, and nothing ever leaves your own browser.

Drag each signal to your honest read. The number updates as you go.
Demandweighted heaviest55 · Some

Real, provable pull, in search and unmet complaints, not a nice-sounding thesis.

Feasibilityweighted heaviest55 · Some

How realistic one person reaching a running MVP inside a kit's timeline is.

Market gap55 · Some

How underserved the space is, and whether incumbents left a seam to enter.

Monetization55 · Some

How directly it makes money, and how soon a first paying customer is realistic.

Codeability55 · Some

How cleanly a coding agent can build it. Fewer moving parts score higher.

Differentiation55 · Some

A sharp, ownable angle, not a me-too clone of a crowded category.

Timing55 · Some

Why now: a shift in tools, cost or behaviour that makes this wanted today.

Moat55 · Some

What keeps it defensible once it works, from data to workflow lock-in.

Read the result honestly

A guess you can trust to be a guess

01

Your read

You rate the eight signals honestly. It is fast, private, and a guess: nobody has researched your market yet.

02

Our score

The catalog number is earned. Search volume, competitor shape and real complaints stand behind every sub-score, applied the same way to every idea.

03

The gap

Where your read and the evidence disagree is the whole value. A demand you rated 80 that measures 40 is the idea you were about to waste a month on.

The scale

Three honest verdicts, one bar

GO75 to 100Strong on demand and feasibility with a real angle. Leads the catalog.
CAUTION55 to 74A real opportunity with a named risk, shown up front, never buried.
PASSbelow 55Fails the bar on demand, defensibility or feasibility. Never publishes.

The same rubric scores all 200 ideas in the catalog. Yours is held to it too, the moment it has evidence behind it. See the full methodology.

Frequently asked

Is this the real UIQ score?

No, and it does not pretend to be. This is your own honest rating of the eight signals, combined the way the rubric combines them. The scored catalog is researched, not self-rated, which is exactly the difference you are paying for.

Do you keep my idea?

There is nothing to keep. The whole thing runs in your browser: no account, no submit button, no network call. Close the tab and the whole thing is gone.

How are the signals weighted?

Demand and feasibility carry the most weight, because an idea that nobody wants, or that nobody can finish, is not an opportunity at any score. The rest are weighted below them and shown as you rate.

What is a good score?

The same scale the catalog uses: 75 and up is a GO, 55 to 74 is a CAUTION worth building with eyes open, and below 55 is a PASS that never publishes. A low read is not a dead end, it is a map of what you need to sharpen.

Why give this away?

Because the framework is useful on its own, and because the honest thing is to let you feel where a guess needs evidence before you pay for the evidence. Value first, always.

Can I score more than one idea?

As many as you like. Reset the sliders and start again. Most builders run three or four ideas through it before they pick one.
