Connecting Stripe

Manage your subscription, update payment methods, and access invoices through the billing portal.

Choosing a plan

UpgradIQ offers three tiers: Fundraiser ($39/mo), Builder ($99/mo), and Scale ($179/mo). Visit the Pricing page or go to Settings > Billing to compare features.

Select a plan at sign up and get access immediately. Annual billing is available at a 17% discount.

Subscribing to a paid plan

1. Go to Settings > Billing tab.

2. Click 'Upgrade plan' or select the plan you want.

3. You will be redirected to a Stripe checkout page. Enter your payment details.

4. After payment, you will be redirected back to UpgradIQ. Your plan is active immediately.

Managing your subscription

Click 'Manage billing' in Settings > Billing to open the Stripe customer portal. From there you can:

Update your credit card or payment method

Download past invoices as PDF

Switch between monthly and annual billing

Cancel your subscription

What happens if payment fails

Stripe will retry the charge up to 3 times. If all retries fail, your account enters 'past due' status.

Day 1 - 7: Everything works normally. You will see a banner asking you to update your payment method.

Day 7 - 14: Your account switches to read-only. You can view all data but cannot create or edit.

Day 14+: Account is locked. Update your payment in Settings > Billing to restore full access. No data is deleted.
