Cookies

This site sets no cookies at all. Here is what it does store, what measures the traffic, and how to clear it.

The short version

This website sets no cookies. Not for measurement, not for advertising, not for anything else.

That is why you have never seen a consent banner here, and it is a design decision rather than an oversight.

    What a cookie is

A cookie is a small file a website leaves in your browser so it can recognise the same browser later. It is what lets one site follow you to the next one, and it is the reason consent banners exist.

Nothing on this site needs to recognise you, so nothing here writes one.

  2. 03

The one thing we do store

If you switch this site between light and dark, your choice is saved in your browser's local storage under the name theme.

Local storage is not a cookie: it is never sent to us, it cannot be read by another website, and it holds one word. It exists so the page does not flash the wrong colour on your next visit.

  3. 04

    How we count visits

We use PostHog to count page views, so we know which pages are read and which are ignored.

It is configured to keep nothing on your device: no cookie, no local storage. The consequence is that we cannot tell a returning reader from a new one, which we accept, because a marketing site does not need to know.

  4. 05

    When a page breaks

We use Sentry to receive a report when a page on this site throws an error. The report holds the error, the page and the browser version.

It is configured not to attach personal information, and it runs only on the live site. It sets no cookie.

  5. 06

    No advertising, no tracking pixels

There is no advertising network on this site, no retargeting pixel and no social media tracker. Nobody is paying us to watch you here, and we are not paying anyone to follow you afterwards.

If that ever changes, this page changes first and the date at the top changes with it.

  6. 07

How to refuse or clear it

There is no cookie to refuse. To clear the one stored preference, clear site data for this domain in your browser settings, or use a private window, which discards it when you close the window.

Blocking scripts for this domain also stops the page view count. Nothing on this site stops working if you do.

  7. 08

    Servers we run for you

This page is about upgradiq.com only. A website or an application running on a server you bought from us sets whatever cookies its own software sets, and that is under your control, not ours.

If you are hosting something with us and you need a cookie notice for your own visitors, ask and we will point you at what your software is actually setting.

Billing

The terms every plan is sold on

One currency and four term lengths. The longer terms take a discount off the monthly rate, and every page on this site quotes the same four.

Monthly
Standard rate
3 months

6 months
5% off the monthly rate
12 months
10% off the monthly rate

A term renews for the same length at the rate published then, and a price change is announced at least thirty days before your renewal date. Switching renewal off stops the next charge and leaves the service running to the end of the term you paid for.

Supplier

Who you are dealing with

One registered company stands behind every plan on this site, and this is it. There is no reseller in the middle and no second entity on the invoice.

Questions

Ask before you agree, not after

A question about any of these documents is answered by a person, usually the same working day. Nothing here is too small to ask about.

  • Message the WhatsApp number and quote the document name.
  • Or write to the shared inbox and we reply in writing.
  • Ask us to explain a clause in your own words before you buy.
  • Ask what a clause means for your specific setup.
Changes

How a change reaches you

This page carries the date it was last changed, at the top and again here. If the date has not moved, nothing has.

A change that costs you money or narrows what you can do is announced at least thirty days before it applies, by email to the address on your account. A correction to wording that changes nothing is published without notice, with the date updated.

We keep no separate archive of old versions. If you need the wording that applied on a particular date, ask and we will send it.

Rather ask a person

Send the question. A clause explained in one message is faster than a page read three times.
